[Wikitroid-l] A Quick Etiquette Addendum: Deleting Email Auto Footers

Hello Wikitroid denizens!

I have for you tonight a quick and easy update to the Wikitroid Mailing
List Etiquette and Best Practices Guide
<http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/WT:ML/E> (good grief, that's a mouthful
to type out), which I will summarize for everyone below:

As you probably have noticed, every email from the mailing lists has a
footer that looks something like this at the very end of it:

You are receiving this message because you explicitly subscribed to this
mailing list
Wikitroid-l at fastlizard4.org
To change mailing list settings or to unsubscribe from this list, visit
this link:
http://fastlizard4.org/mailman/listinfo/wikitroid-l

Essentially, the new etiquette guideline is to simply remove this
automatically generated footer from the quoted message in any replies
you send to the mailing list.  If it's impossible to do, don't beat
yourself up over it, but doing it would be greatly appreciated and it'd
help with clutter, since a new footer will get tacked on to your message
anyway.  :P

(And, if you're wondering, it is possible to do on the iPod
Touch/iPhone/iPad - simply select the text by holding down your finger
and dragging and hit the backspace button on the keyboard.)
