By popular demand, here's the wallpaper that I am using on my Linux install (see File:Linux Desktop.png). Reuploading because I have since forgotten the original source, and others want to use it. I believe copyright is satisfied, because this is a faithful reupload of the original work and the watermark is still present.
If I understand correctly, this is a computer rendering of the alternate reality (created by Nero's incursion into the TOS timeline, Star Trek (2009)) U.S.S. Enterprise that was made using released specifications before the film was actually released. Some minor differences, but a pretty close rendering nonetheless (compare the rendering to a screenshot from the actual film). See memoryalpha:USS Enterprise (alternate reality).
